Consultation

The first step to perfect putting is to schedule a consultation here at The Golf School in Altrincham. During this consultation, we will ask you questions about your game, your putting stroke, and your preferences to see what kind of putter will work best for you.

Measurements

Once we have an idea of your needs, we take measurements to determine the optimal length, weight, and grip size for your putter. They may also use advanced technology, such as a Sam Puttlab, to analyse your stroke and gather data to inform the fitting process.

Trial & Adjustment

With the measurements in hand, we will work with you to test out different putters to see which one feels the best and see how you perform using each. We may make adjustments to the putter’s design or specifications until it feels perfect for your stroke.

Final Product

Once we’ve gathered all the relevant data, we’ll be able to determine the perfect putter for you, we will either build or order the final product, which will be customised to your specific needs and preferences, ready to start sinking more putts.

Get playing

Start using your putter out on the course and start seeing improvements in your putting. Whilst changes can be minimal, you should be noticing that you’re feeling more comfortable and making less errors and getting lower scores.

Follow Up

After you receive your custom-fitted putter, the fitter may schedule a follow-up session to make sure that the putter is still working for you and to make any necessary adjustments. Any adjustments are included in the original fitting fee.
